Blitz.
INTRODUCTION
You've heard of
speed dating; your church blitz is NOT speed churching.
The church blitz is a well thought out, useful way to spend
part of ONE weekend. Imagine how well you will get to
know the city, get to know other people, learn more of God,
and maybe even find another church to attend regularly or on
occasion.
Judge Wyld is a
radio talk show host among many other pursuits in life,
including being a retired Army Reservist. When Judge
thought of the idea of the church blitz, the obvious
question was not "Why?". The obvious question was and
is, "Why NOT?"
If Judge Wyld can
attend 9 church services in one weekend, why can't anyone?
Young Married Couple, Relocated Married Couple, Relocated
Single, Anyone in a Busy RUT in Current Church...... clearly
anyone can personally challenge themself to this adventure
of curiosity and faith.
Whether you are in
need of a new church, open minded to different churches,
just adventurous and curious, or stuck in a shallow singles
group, try a three or four church Church Blitz. If 9
can be attended in one weekend by JUDGE WYLD, then YOU can
do a 3, 4, or 5 church Church Blitz. You make the
rules!!!
PRESS RELEASE
Judge Wyld's
Church Blitz PRESS RELEASE is copied below.
The press release
was to give purpose for the media for the Church Blitz but
the challenge is to make a plan and implement the plan on
FAITH+. The true purpose of Judge Wyld's or YOUR
personal Church Blitz will not be known until it is
revealed in the right time.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
What Is A Church Blitz & Why Is This Wyld Man Running
From Church To Church?
Judge Wyld from Wichita , Kansas takes on the challenge to attend
as many unfamiliar church services in one weekend May 14 –
16. He
wants to not only test his faith with his “Church Blitz”
but to test the churches' ability to embrace a local
Single when he walks in the door.
Judge Wyld (as he is known on
his talk radio show) has observed most churches as family
friendly, but they only tolerate Single men and women
as a labeled group. He has listeners who agree with him that
churches tend to shuffle Single men and women into
'classes' or 'groups' and not deal with their spiritual
needs as a talented, productive, community member.
Judge is a local professional
who is very active in the community tutoring and
entertaining children and visiting the elderly at nursing
homes.
If Judge considers his first “Church Blitz” a
personally rewarding event, he will invite other Singles to
accompany him on future “Church Blitzes".
Knowing that he will be
facing the church offering plate during the weekend
Church Blitz, Judge Wyld is accepting donations that
will go directly to offering plates.

Why Not?
How many hotdogs
can you eat in one sitting? How many bands can you listen to
at a jamboree? How many ball games can you watch at a
tournament? How many movies can you watch in a weekend at
home? Seriously ask yourself "WHY?"
How many church
services can you attend in one weekend? Ask yourself,
"WHY NOT?"
Make Your Plan
Use a big calendar or make your own on
a spreadsheet. Search the internet and start filling
in Friday night through Sunday night with church services
that you find in your community. Decide if you want to
do a full weekend blitz or a partial weekend blitz.
Attend their regular worship services. Plan your
travel time. Include on your plan, the full addresses
and the telephone numbers of the churches.
Addresses
and telephone numbers were removed from the following plan
and cheat sheet.
